We were commissioned by This Is Wrecsam to document the making of the WRECSAM letters, a large art installation created by local artist Simon O’Rourke. The letters were carved from a single oak tree and took several months to finish. We visited Simon's workshop on a regular basis to document the process from when he first collected the oak to the final piece being installed in Queens Square. We also sat down with Simon to interview him about creating the piece which formed the basis of the film.
