Inspired by Nature is an ongoing series of short form documentary films we are creating that explores the world of designers, makers, producers, and creators who take their inspiration from the natural world. The idea behind the project has developed from our own personal love for nature, spending time outdoors and understanding the positive impact it has on our lives. We want to celebrate the North Wales landscape that inspires our creativity, a place full of unique, inventive, and skilled people.

Sophie Schärer is a potter and print maker based in North Wales. Inspired by folklore, history and nature, Sophie produces intricate Linocut illustrations of the landscapes and the native plants and wildflowers that grow around her home. Her work documents the passing of the seasons through the changes in nature.
